We propose the Duration of Active Attenuated Psychosis (DAAP) as an analogue of DAP for CHR-P populations. DAAP is defined as the cumulative period since the onset of attenuated psychotic symptoms during which an individual experiences either (a) positive symptoms within the attenuated/subthreshold range, as operationalized by validated CHR-P instruments (e.g., CAARMS, SOPS), or (b) transient full-threshold psychotic symptoms, whether treated or untreated. This expanded formulation reflects the phenomenological continuity between attenuated and full psychosis and recognizes the prognostic and functional significance of subthreshold experiences.

Abstract
We propose the Duration of Active Attenuated Psychosis (DAAP) as an analogue of DAP for CHR-P populations. DAAP is defined as the cumulative period since the onset of attenuated psychotic symptoms during which an individual experiences either (a) positive symptoms within the attenuated/subthreshold range, as operationalized by validated CHR-P instruments (e.g., CAARMS, SOPS), or (b) transient full-threshold psychotic symptoms, whether treated or untreated. This expanded formulation reflects the phenomenological continuity between attenuated and full psychosis and recognizes the prognostic and functional significance of subthreshold experiences.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
