Abstract

In this chapter we aim to present two of the main contributions that femi- nist epistemologies have developed for gendering science. The first is Sandra Harding’s ‘standpoint theory’, while the second is Donna Haraway’s ‘situated knowledges’. In doing so we will embody both theories in two key figurations which will inspire two lines of flight: Lise Meitner and Lynn Margulis.
