In this chapter, we will compare the diff erent approaches chosen in the various states covered in this book to the different relevant aspects of access to justice, assessing whether some of them might be inconsistent with the Aarhus Convention and more specifically with the interpretation given by the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) to the EU provisions implementing the Convention.
