This paper explores the historical transformations of the agrarian landscape and monastic architecture associated with the Cistercian Abbey of Staffarda (Saluzzo, Italy) from the 12th to the 18th century, adopting an interdisciplinary methodology. By integrating historical archival research, landscape analysis, and drone-based surveys, the study investigates the evolution of monastic granges, land-use changes, and water management. Furthermore, it presents an innovative digital ecosystem platform designed to model and communicate cultural heritage.
