The production of eta, eta', K-, phi, omega mesons in pp reactions at an energy of 2.85 GeV has been investigated using the DISTO spectrometer at SATURNE. The results include first measurements of the K- cross section and the phi/omega cross section ratio at an energy of less than 100 MeV above the absolute production threshold, as well as a measurement of the eta' cross section.

Abstract

The production of eta, eta', K-, phi, omega mesons in pp reactions at an energy of 2.85 GeV has been investigated using the DISTO spectrometer at SATURNE. The results include first measurements of the K- cross section and the phi/omega cross section ratio at an energy of less than 100 MeV above the absolute production threshold, as well as a measurement of the eta' cross section.
