The one-loop vacuum energy is computed for a class of perturbative string vacua where supersymmetry is spontaneously broken by a stringy Scherk-Schwarz deformation. The spectrum of light excitations is tachyon-free and the generated quantum potential exhibits an anti de Sitter minimum where the geometric moduli are naturally stabilised.
