Recursive expressions for computing bthe moments of the waiting time and queue length distributions of multiple server FCFS stations embedded in product-form queueing networks are derived. These results can neasily be incorporated in a mean value analysis algorithm for computing the performance measures of queueing networks. It is therefore recommended that standard product form queueing network solution packages be augmented to report routinely information on the variability of waiting times.
