The chapter analyses two Talmudic traditions which account for the interpretation of messianism, or more precisely of the idea of salvation, in its relation to the concept of history. This analysis is particularly relevant in political and legal philosophy, since many political and legal categories and ideas come from the secularization of the theological one, which has greatly influenced by the messianic tradition and whose influence is meant to challenge the legitimacy of modernity.

Abstract
The chapter analyses two Talmudic traditions which account for the interpretation of messianism, or more precisely of the idea of salvation, in its relation to the concept of history. This analysis is particularly relevant in political and legal philosophy, since many political and legal categories and ideas come from the secularization of the theological one, which has greatly influenced by the messianic tradition and whose influence is meant to challenge the legitimacy of modernity.File in questo prodotto:
