Primary murine mixed lymphocyte culture was used to examine the Lyt phenotype of T-lymphocytes producing migration inhibitory factor (MIF) against alloantigens. Experiments with anti-Lyt 1 and anti-Lyt 2 monoclonal antibodies in the presence of rabbit complement showed that both the Lyt 1+ (helper) and Lyt 2+3+ (cytotoxic/suppressor) T cell subpopulations produced MIF after allogeneic stimulation.

Abstract

Primary murine mixed lymphocyte culture was used to examine the Lyt phenotype of T-lymphocytes producing migration inhibitory factor (MIF) against alloantigens.
