Abstract
Traditional query methods are good at retrieving items on the basis of a precise specification, but they are not useful when the user wants to explore an information base in order to find interesting items. Dynamic Taxonomies were recently proposed for guided browsing and retrieval from heterogeneous information bases. We discuss their application to multimedia information bases and provide an example of interaction.File in questo prodotto:
