Hydrogeology of large alluvial plains show some particularities controlled by the environment or by antropic activity. The most important are: aquifers and groundwater heterogeneity and discontinuity, variation in surface water flow, agricultural and industrial development. In this context it is important to use or to study punctual and careful methods, that permit a good extrapolation to the regional scale. These methods are the analysis of piezometry and hydrogeochemical data interpretation.

Abstract
Hydrogeology of large alluvial plains show some particularities controlled by the environment or by antropic activity. The most important are: aquifers and groundwater heterogeneity and discontinuity, variation in surface water flow, agricultural and industrial development. In this context it is important to use or to study punctual and careful methods, that permit a good extrapolation to the regional scale. These methods are the analysis of piezometry and hydrogeochemical data interpretation.File in questo prodotto:
