In this paper, after a short premise on importance of determination of the “time of concentration” to estimate peak floods by the “rational method”, the A. makes a particularized research about floods happened in 9 Piedmontese “small catchments” with surface lower than 200 km2, placed in mountain or anyhow morphologically rather broker zones.
