Here,we report here a case of sodium chlorate poisoning in a patient who ingested the herbicide in an attempted suicide and was treated successfully with HD, fluid exchange, high oxygen flow rate and darbepoetin alfa. Exchange transfusion and fresh plasma were refused by the patient.

Abstract
