In the previous annual report [1] preliminary results from a study of p+p collisions at 2.2 GeV were reported on. Here we present results from a more refined analysis, using better detector calibrations and an improved geometrical alignment. The status of the HADES high resolution tracking reconstruction is shown, using the pp elastic scattering analysis. The exclusive eta meson production via the hadronic (eta->pi+pi-pi0) and electromagnetic (eta->e+e-gamma) decays has been measured, and the ratio between the two reconstruction channel yields is compared to the expectations based on simulations with a realistic detector response. Together with the well known meson production and decay mechanism, this value provides information on the lepton reconstruction efficiency.
