Abstract

A series of Ti-MCM-41 materials with Ti loading in the 0.15-2.00 wt% range was synthesized as photocatalysts for the decomposition of NO into N-2 and O-2, and characterized by XRD, XAFS (XANES and FT-EXAFS), diffuse reflectance UV-Vis, photoluminescence spectroscopies, and FTIR spectroscopy of the adsorbed ammonia as a probe molecule.
