Abstract
The excavations carried on during the last twenty years by the Russian-Turkmen and by the Italian-Turkmen expeditions in Old Nisa, have been very remarkable for the understanding of the monumental central complex’s main architectonical phases. Although there are no elements for a precise absolute chronology, it is nowadays possible to assume that inside the city wall not all the structures belong to the same original building complex and that the Arsacid centre had a rather elaborate development.File in questo prodotto:
