During pharmacological abortion induction in the bitch the relaxin was monitored with “Reprocheck Relaxin®”, produced by “Synbiotic Corporation” (USA), pregnancy test. The results confirmed that the test is reliable for pregnancy diagnosis but it is advisable to associate it with other methods when it is utilized for monitoring the effectiveness of the pharmacological protocol of abortion.
