Abstract
The products of the reaction between Os3(CO)10(NCMe)2 and benzotriazole, a widely used corrosion inhibitor, are discussed in the light of their spectroscopic data. The structural, chemical and electrochemical properties of these molecular clusters are considered, with the aim of providing new insights into the actual mechanism of protection of metallic surfaces from corrosion.File in questo prodotto:
