Abstract
In Piedmont according to the recent estimations Quercus robur stands cover about 20.000 hectares. The oak decline phenomenon is widespread and the natural regeneration it's difficult to obtain, because of the presence of constrains, including the competition of the invasive and spontaneous species. Quercus robur stands, which are protected habitats based on the European directive 92/43/CEE, now are threatened by the climate change and in general by the human activities. The paper examines the best treatments to improve the biodiversity, the production and the protective attitude of this important habitat.File in questo prodotto:
