REcurrent miscarriege is usually defined as the loss of three or more consecutive pregnacies, until 20th gestationa week, with the same patner. 1-3% of couples fall into this group. The etiologic factors can be divided into several groups: genetic (2%), hormonal (20-30%), Throombophilic (2-3%), anatomical (10-20%) infective (1-2%), autoimmune (20-30%), more than one cause (25%). Many Cases will remain unexplained (40-50%) even after detailed investigations have been performed. The aim of this study to analyze: the distribution of the possible etiological factors in a population of couples affected by recurrent spontaneous miscarrieage and the live birth and miscarriage rate.
