However phase angle (PA) can express body cell mass by determination of resistance (R) and reactance (Xc). Aim: we run this study in order to investigate the use of PA as an indicator of nutritional status in dehydrated children. Conclusions: PA can give important information on the nutritional status during acute gastrointestinal illness. Futher investigation will clarify the role of PA in the patient's management.
