Abstract
A new reading of Preafatio in Euangelio, allows a better understanding of Jerome’s philological attitude in approaching the Scriptures. Particularly noteworthy is the use of indirect sources (translations and canones Eusebii) for the constitution of the biblical text. Moreover Augustine’s use of indirect sources in his epist. 28 could be a reminescence of this Praefatio.File in questo prodotto:
