Indagine preliminare sulle variazioni nictemerali nelle comunità malacologiche di due praterie di Posidonia oceanica

This work aims to increase knowledge in the study of malacofauna diel variations, depth and seasonal gradient into P. oceanica ecosystem. We present here preliminary results of shallow zone of two beds with opposite exposition located in Capo Enfola, Elba Island. Structural and similarity analysis give back that the species characterizing diurnal and nocturnal assemblages are different. These results are similar to those obtained in the mid ‘80s in the same ecosystem. Hence the study will go on to investigate how these changes are influenced by the depth and seasons during a year of samplings.
