After a start in the massive use of ligneous biomass for energy production, a rapid increase in the realization of the plants followed. But not marginal issues are highlighting in the quality of the biomass, when it comes from wood chips treated with paints and glues. The presence of these substances blocks the plant filters and generates highly polluting substances. It is therefore important to ensure the origin of the wood chip and to verify the whole chain, from the forest until the processing plant. This can be easily done in a short wood chain, using electronic devices to monitor the entire process, from production, to transport and storage: these technologies are already used, and are based on the transmission of data via GPS, but they must be adapted. The design of an automated storage terminal is therefore necessary.

Abstract
The design of an automated storage terminal is therefore necessary.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
