Abstract
The social structure of the bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus Montagu, 1821, Delphinidae) in the Mediterranean Sea is a fairly new topic, because few studies have been carried out in this regard. The bottlenose dolphin has a structure defined as fission-fusion society, characterized by bonds that are formed and break up several times during the day. In this study we analysed the social structure of the population lived in the Eastern Ligurian Sea, focusing on the bonds between male-male, female-female and male-female.File in questo prodotto:
