AIM Study on the repeatability of three evaluation tests of motor skills in people who for various pathological conditions , use daily the wheelchair. METHODS The tests were carried out on 13 wheelchair tennis players, 11 men and 2 women (age 45 ±11 years disabilities from 22 ±15 years). The sample group consisted of people with different disabilities. In a session, prior to the start of the STUDY, the three tests: Lane Agility Drill (LAD) , Reverse Lane Agility Drill (RLAD) and Twist and Sprint (T&S) were presented and tested by the subjects of the sample group , so as to minimize the learning effect . The assessment protocol consisted of three daily session of tests for three times a week. Each session was composed of three tests: LAD, RLAD and T&S; the three tests were separated by a recovery time of 2 minutes , and three test days, were not consecutive , but separated by a number of days of rest always constant for each individual subject. STATISTICAL ANALYSIS was performed using the program MATLAB (MathWorks Inc., Massachusetts, USA) to calculate the ICC, the variance between trials (trials Var) and the variance between days (Var days). It was also calculated the standard error of the mean (SEM) within and between the subjects. RESULTS The data showed: 1) LAD, iCC, 98.34, Var days of 0,45 sec, Var trials 1,20 sec, SEM within 0,86, SEM between 5,93. 2) RLAD, ICC, 94.33, Var days 3,55 sec, Var trials 2,12 sec, SEM within 1,65, SEM between 8,77, 3) T&S, ICC, 93.84, Var days 3,46 sec, Var trials 2,70 sec, SEM within 1,39, SEM between 6,08. DISCUSSION / CONCLUSION The ICC values obtained for each test showed an excellent repeatability.
