Aspetti di sanità pubblica negli “Statuti” di Cavour: assicurazione del bestiame e utilizzazione delle bestie morte

The role played by Cavour in the context of agricultural activities has been widely studied, particularly as regards the years between 1835 and 1848. It was during this period, between his abandon of a military career and his entry into parliament, that Cavour devoted himself to his family properties and, from 1846 onwards, managed the family farm at Leri (province of Vercelli), which became his personal source of income. The authors report some of Cavour’s views on the development of highlighting its role within the context of public health.
