The Inner Cottian Alps are dissected by several regional multi-km fault systems and are affected by a diffuse seismicity with low magnitude. Considering these characteristics, the identification of recently active faults must, therefore, be the result of a multidisciplinary approach, including different methodologies (Structural geology, Quaternary geology, Geomorphology, Geomatics) that provide data at different scales and are integrated with each other. A complete geomatics system has been created, from field data collection with pocket pc and mobile GIS, to 3D editing and analysis with TerraExplorer® Software Systems, Inc (Skyline). A complete dataset was collected such as, digital orthophotos, aerial stereo couples, DEM, topographic maps, satellite images. A Geodatabase of Germanasca valley has been created in order to manage the dataset and data analysis
