2COMM4Jade is a framework based on the JADE and CArtAgO platforms that allows the definition of social relationships among agents, represented by social commitments, decoupled from the agent design itself. Relationships are structured and defined by commitment-based protocols, that in 2COMM4Jade are modelled as artifacts, i.e. resources that agents can explicitly observe, perceive and create. Thus, system engineers can program explicitly the interaction logic, separately from the agent logic.
