In particular, the city of Florianópolis was considered for a period of fourteen years from 2001 to 2014. A quality control on daily precipitation data was carried out to verify the presence of any inconsistencies or shortcomings. Furthermore the trend and seasonality of hospital admissions and precipitation have been studied. Finally an analysis between precipitation and people hospitalized for circulatory disease was run
