Starting from Levy’s and De Kerckhove’s statements about the collective intelligence of the new media, as it is contextualized in the debate about winning back orality, the typical expression belonging to primitive cultures, this paper analyses how the new media – among them, social networks – condition both the contents of popular communication and the academic interaction (blogging), especially among scholars of German Literature in their daily dissemination of research achievements.
