Abstract Skin toxicities are a frequent side effect of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) treatments, affecting more than 80% of patients treated with mAbs anti - Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (anti-EGFR) that report rash papulopustolar, xerosis, itching or paronychia. A untimely and not appropriate treatment may impact even the prosecution of the treatment. This review aims at describing the main skin toxicities from mAbs, their assessment and possible prevention and treatment strategies. Though important progresses were obtained in the past 10 years, much remains to be done for the prevention and treatment of mAbs related papulopustolar rash, skin xerosis, itching e paronychia, and recommendation are mostly based on experts opinion. The effectiveness of treatments such as menthol, creams containing K vitamin, oatmeal o urea need to be confirmed.
