This paper presents a procedural model for the generation of characters' emotions in a narrative. The model is the result of the adaptation of the well-known OCC model for emotion appraisal to the drama context and its encoding into logic clauses that are computationally tractable. The model has been implemented through a standard ontological reasoner, and applied to sample drama fragments through the Drammar ontology encoding of the dramatic incidents.

Abstract
This paper presents a procedural model for the generation of characters' emotions in a narrative. The model is the result of the adaptation of the well-known OCC model for emotion appraisal to the drama context and its encoding into logic clauses that are computationally tractable. The model has been implemented through a standard ontological reasoner, and applied to sample drama fragments through the Drammar ontology encoding of the dramatic incidents.File in questo prodotto:
