About APNS Applied Physics is rooted in the basic concepts and scientific methods of the physical sciences, but deals with their practical use in other areas. Neuroscience studies, with a wide variety of approaches, both clinical and basic, the morphofunctional aspects of the nervous system. APNS is Applied Physics in Neuroscience. It can contribute from a theoretical point of view with modeling and in silico simulations of complex biological systems such as the Blood- brain Barrier, or, in a much more concrete way by engineering and guiding with quantitative measures different technologies: diagnostic, therapeutic and theranostic, applied on the nervous system. Some examples are Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound, Functionalized Nanoparticles.
