The paper presents the main results of the 2018-19 archaeological campaign conducted at the sun temple of Nyuserra at Abu Ghurab. Two main areas have been excavated with new discoveries. In the first excavated area, i.e., the north-eastern sector, previously unknown structures have been found below the pavement of the stone temple. These structures are made of mudbricks and feature the plan of an earlier sun temple, so far never documented. In the second excavated area, decorated royal reliefs have been found among the debris of the obelisk, which enrich our knowledge of the decorative programme of the temple. Eventually the reliefs are associated with some pottery (miniature bowls) which are fundamental for dating the reliefs.
