This study evaluates the potential of Internet of Things (IoT) devices for building automation and the creation of a Digital shadow for Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) at the University of Turin, Italy. Data was collected on temperature, carbon dioxide (CO2), PM2.5, PM10, and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) levels in three classrooms and connected to the BIM models in an Asset Management System platform. The methodology for connecting the data flow to the model and developing information dashboards is described, highlighting its advantages and critical issues.

Abstract
This study evaluates the potential of Internet of Things (IoT) devices for building automation and the creation of a Digital shadow for Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) at the University of Turin, Italy. Data was collected on temperature, carbon dioxide (CO2), PM2.5, PM10, and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) levels in three classrooms and connected to the BIM models in an Asset Management System platform. The methodology for connecting the data flow to the model and developing information dashboards is described, highlighting its advantages and critical issues.File in questo prodotto:
