Climate crisis has become one of the main challenges of the 21st century. However, there appears to be a lack of awareness among individuals regarding the impact of our daily routines on the environment. Virtual Reality has shown to be an effective technology to virtually bring people to emotional scenarios, such as, in this case, a dystopian future. This work introduces a futuristic depiction of the city of Torino, Italy, in Virtual Reality, showcasing the alarming consequences of climate change on nature, individuals, and urban infrastructure. It includes a representation of the city center, and a virtual house with household appliances, where users can run their daily activities and see the consequences of energy consumption. The aim is to raise consciousness and understanding of the potential personal impact on climate change.

The aim is to raise consciousness and understanding of the potential personal impact on climate change.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
