The speech considers the writing methods and processes of three Italian companies: Sotterraneo, lacasadargilla and Carrozzeria Orfeo. These three collective bodies share the same age and generation, the plurality of scenic and dramaturgical action, but differ greatly in their writing methods, approaches, texts and results. Outlining the intersections between studies and practises, these are three cases of collective dramaturgical processes taking place in the creativity of multiform entities, such as contemporary companies, through the sharing of different expertise, skills and idiosyncrasies, thus reflecting our time. In a sense, it is an attempt to show that even within groups of artists who share a collective membership and generational coordinates, there are different and diverse forms of dramaturgical and writing practises. A sign of ferment and research, also in Italian theatre.
