This work provides an onboard electronic solution and commercial application to improve in quality of service of the public transport by creating efficient routes.A prototype based on a microcontroller was created which receives data from a GPS; the microcontroller collects useful data to count the people flow recorded by infrared sensors. After the gathering of the information, the microcontroller sends the information via Bluetooth to a remote personal computer which processes the data again and displays the route of vehicles.
