This paper deals with the 14 Shrines of Hatra built within the city landscape, concurrently employing and integrating published material and the preserved records in the Archive of the Italian Expedition at Hatra (AIEH). Some preliminary results of this research facilitate a better understanding of these interesting religious structures, their builders, chronology, and the diverse individuals who used them.

Abstract
