Vincoli e limiti della minuzzaria. Dalla magia nolana alle api di vetro

The presents article employs the concept of minuzzaria (the minimal being according to Giordano Bruno) to illustrate the dangers of the separation between natural organism and technical organization. The natural minuzzaria has a magical character because it translates the elemental and dionysian metaphysical principle. According to Ernst Jünger, the minimal natural being oscillates and vibrates. The oscillation represents the becoming of the being: it is a movement following the natural rhythm of nature and provided with a central point in which the vibration intensifies, thereby manifesting the elemental. On the contrary, the artificial being oscillates automatically and mechanically, without vibration: its movement is not a natural rhythm, but a strict, uniform and homologating cadence. When organism and organization diverge, the catastrophe unfolds, i.e. a metaphysical event at once destructive and reconfiguring. This topic is developed by referring to, among others, some cinematographic works of Dario Argento and Stanley Kubrick, and the reflection of Pier Paolo Pasolini.
