The aim of this article is to analyse Neoplatonic themes in the thought of Meister Eckhart (1260-1327/1328), Nicholas Cusanus (1401-1464) and Simone Weil (1909-1943) and to correlate such themes to the current of post-theism. In particular, with regard to said religious orientation, reference is made to the perspective of Paolo Gamberini in his volume Deus duepuntozero. Ripensare la fede nel post-teismo (2022). This article employs Neoplatonic elements in order to place post-theism within a neoplatonising philosophy. In addition, a comparison with various aspects of the thought of Eckhart, Cusanus and Weil is made: such comparison allows for further development of the post-theist conception. Such aspects include the status of divinity, the concept of nature as theophany, the creative process, the concept of grace, and the metaphysical situation of the human being.
