[IT] Questo volume (vol. 7), così come il vol. 6 (pubblicato alla fine del 2025) è stato incentrato sullo studio della metafora analizzata in rapporto alla sua funzione argomentativa in un ampio spettro di contesti istituzionali nazionali e internazionali. All’interno dei contributi che compongono il volume, redatti nelle lingue italiana, inglese e francese, i concetti di metafora e argomentazione, da sempre centrali nell’analisi del discorso istituzionale, sono stati indagati sotto diversi aspetti e da diverse prospettive epistemologiche. I principali obiettivi di indagine sono inerenti alle realizzazioni retorico-discorsive della metafora in diversi contesti istituzionali e riguardano alcune nozioni specifiche tra cui la correlazione tra metafora e ethos e l’analisi delle strategie di 'framing' attraverso l’uso di metafore. [EN] This volume (vol. 7), similarly to vol. 6 (published at the end of 2025), focuses on the study of metaphor analyzed in relation to its argumentative function in a wide range of national and international institutional contexts. Within the contributions that make up the volume --written in Italian, English, and French-- the concepts of metaphor and argumentation, which have always been central to the analysis of institutional discourse, are investigated from different angles, and from different epistemological perspectives. The main objectives of the investigation are the rhetorical-discursive realizations of metaphor in different institutional contexts and concern some specific notions, including the correlation between metaphor and ethos and the analysis of ‘framing’ strategies through the use of metaphors.
