Increasing Managerial Efficiency in the Educational System

This paper analyzes the main dimensions of educational management and highlights the relationship between leadership, resource management, information use, and institutional performance. The research is based on the analysis of literature and recent international reports and studies and aims to develop a conceptual model for increasing managerial efficiency in educational organizations. Within the research, an integrated conceptual model is proposed for substantiating and streamlining the decision-making process in educational institutions, structured on the stages of analysis of the educational context, identification of resources, formulation and evaluation of alternatives based on costs, benefits and risks, selection and implementation of the optimal solution, followed by monitoring and evaluation of the results; the iterative nature of the model allows the use of the feedback obtained in the evaluation stage to reconsider the solutions and resume the decision-making cycle, when the results require it.
