The paper presents the experimental results of a multidimensional evaluation of perceptual audio-visual quality. In particular experimental results obtained on MPEG-2 coded audio-visual sequences are illustrated. From these reasults, indications on the factors influencing the overall quality are given and areas for further investigations are discussed.
