In this paper we present a software architecture for a diagnostic module in the RoboCare multi-agent system. We provide a domain conceptualization for the RoboCare project where autonomous robots cooperate to provide services for elderly assistance. We focus the discussion in particular on the intelligent monitoring functionality, performed by the Executor Monitor which is able to perform a temporal interpretation of messages coming from the robotic agents and from the intelligent sensors. The diagnostic process is partially performed by the Executor Monitor (fault detection) and partially by the Fault Identification Module.

Abstract
In this paper we present a software architecture for a diagnostic module in the RoboCare multi-agent system. We provide a domain conceptualization for the RoboCare project where autonomous robots cooperate to provide services for elderly assistance. We focus the discussion in particular on the intelligent monitoring functionality, performed by the Executor Monitor which is able to perform a temporal interpretation of messages coming from the robotic agents and from the intelligent sensors. The diagnostic process is partially performed by the Executor Monitor (fault detection) and partially by the Fault Identification Module.File in questo prodotto:
