The paper concerns the educational side of a project supported by Regione Piemonte and the Unione dei Comuni di Colline di Langa e Barolo, which is aiming to provide a contribution in the amelioration of EMAS, the European Environmental Management and Audit Scheme. The intersection of EMAS and the European Landscape Convention highlights the importance of training on site. It also highlights the importance to share with and make people aware of the relation between environment and landscape, which includes and enriches the classical environmental, social and economical concerns.
