The spider's role in agroecosystems is not yet fully clear, but their impact is shown by several studies. In this paper we develop a mathematical model for understanding their effect as controllers of the insects infesting vineyards. We emphasize the presence of residual wood and green patches as spiders habitat in the otherwise homogeneuous landscape of the Langa Astigiana.

Abstract
