In the years 2005-06 the dung beetle fauna of Mont Avic Park was studied, and 25 species are identified. The species belong to 3 families (i.e., Aphodiidae, Geotrupidae and Scarabaeidae). All the species are enlisted here, and fenology and chorology are furnished for each species. Pitfall traps methods are examined and compared to assess the more appropriate one for studying mountain coprophagous communities.
