A mini-grid PV system has been set up in the village of Toukounous, Filingué province, Niger. The installation serves the village public buildings: the hospital, the school, and the mosque, besides the private residence of the Director of the school and the Director of the hospital. The buildings have been equipped with an electrical system and user points. After the installation the system has been operated for 16 months, monitoring 7 parameters each 10 minutes. In this paper details on the installation and the results of the monitoring are given. This work has been built in the framework of a decentralised cooperation co-financed by Regione Piemonte, Italy.

Abstract
